How we treat fever in babies
Fever = body temperature is elevated .The normal body temperature is under 37 degrees Celsius. When the temperature reaches 38 C we call that a fever.
All mothers are so scared when this is happening but this is a normal body response, all babies will have fever at the same stage. So be calm and try not to worry so much .The most normal thing you can do is call your doctor and he will guide you what to do. But fever at children between 2-6 years old is harmless because this is the body’s mechanism for fighting infections. We do treat fever to make the child more comfortable. To treat fever without drugs you can try dressing your baby in light cotton clothing, give lots of fluids, keep his room cold, try a sponge bath and don’t dry off let the water evaporate from the skin. Also you can add cool towels on the forehead or the back of the baby to cool them down.
Medical news for men
- Impotence is quite frequent caused by depressions. That is what a study made on 1700 patients (aged from 40 to 70) who suffer or impotence says. It seems that those men who suffer of depression are twice likelier to develop impotence than those men who have a healthy psychic. As impotence causes psychic storms and stress due to the fear of the impossibility of fulfilling sexual acts, depression goes deeper and deeper every day. This can be considered a vicious circle, and the only solution for this would be talking to a psychologist and solve the depression.
Men’s issues learn about alternatives
A very much discussed medical problem nowadays is the one related to men erectile dysfunctions. Until a few years ago these sorts of matters were not to be discussed in public, men would not share their intimate problems with others and as you can easily imagine, this was not a good solution at all. After Viagra was invented men rushed to buy this product disconsidering the side effects of such product which after all is still a drug that can harm the body too. With Viagra a lot of men saved their marriage and recovered their hope that everything will get to be just fine with their lives. As we might say that this is quite close to the truth. But what can we say about those men who had to suffer from the side effects of the drug? Was it really worth it? Some might say it was, some might say it wasn’t, the opinions upon this matter are various.
Health problems you did not know computers can cause
By now, I believe that most of us people living in a developed country own a computer at home or at least work at one at our work place. We consider computers very helpful and we can admit that we are a little bit addicted to them. They save us a lot of time by resolving much faster tasks that would have taken us a day to solve, but they take back the time they saved us by stimulating our curiosity regarding the internet. If we finish our daily chars earlier we allow ourselves to spend some time navigating on the internet. But have we ever thought that by using the computer too long our healthy might suffer?
Doctors seem to encounter more and more musculoskeletal affections caused by using the keyboard for too long. Here are some of the affections you might develop if you work a lot on your computer, by especially using the keyboard: synovitis, tendonitis, chronic arthritis and epicondylitis.
Effects of coffee upon health
A lot of people appreciate coffee for its taste, for the fact that it helps us wake up completely in the morning, and so they have included this no longer exotic spice into their daily habits, transforming it into a “legal drug”.
And I call it a drug because coffee contains in its composition a substance called caffeine (that is classified as an alkaloid as well as morphine, LSD, codeine) which stimulates the central nervous system intensely. You should know that caffeine is also found in other plants too like: cocoa, tea leafs, guarana and cola.
Discussions about the benefic effects of coffee upon health are still taking place, as well as the discussions about certain affections coffee could worsen or even cause. One thing is sure: for healthy people moderate doses of coffee (meaning 200-300 mg a day) are not harmful. But in certain conditions coffee must be reduced or even eliminated from the daily diet. We shall see why.
